Mamma forgot school began today so when I woke up my hair rose on end as I found it was 9:05 well I bounded out of bed and rushed and as the clock was 15 min. fast I got to chapel for the “Amen”. Then went to German & Math. This P.M. I studied and things are going the same old way as if we hadn’t had any vacation. Then Esther went home and I took a walk out Park St. and around the loop to West home by the new High School and Gym building. I walked a ways with Don Strickland I like him quite well. He’s going to Ann Arbor. This evening I’m tired and lame and got a cold so I’m going to bed and not get my german. Here’s a new conundrum that Mr. Parker caught me on. Whats the difference between an automobile, a deer, and a monkey? And auto is too dear, a deer is plain deer and a monkey is you dear!
