Went to church and S.S. had three new scholars today. 12 with class today. I told them about Samson today and their eyes fairly poped[sic] out of their sockets. This P.M. I went over to Vera’s and we played and played. Then I came home and Ralph came. We talked and had a good time then went to church. And eight of my boys came and sat with us and everybody laughed. Three of them were asleep at once. I had to hang on to one or he would have fallen of[f] the seat. Paul Tubbs sat next to me and keeled over on my [muff?]. Poor George had the tooth ache and wept silently about that. Carl Fielder rushed in late after church had begun and let out such an awful sigh when he sat down that everyone grinned. I didn’t dare look at Ralph because he was laughing so he just shook the seat Little Lyle Bedford walked part way home with us.
