Feb. 3 & 4, 1913

Mon. Feb. 3, 1913

Went to school and I guess I got through in everything all right. I had my first little private talk with “Toughy” and he said I had done fine work that I should be an “A” student but that he felt I had not done my best. He gave me B and said my work was very satisfactory  I was de-lighted. This P.M. Helen and I went down town and I got a fine copy of “De Senectute”. Went to gym. and I’m  tired. This evening I went up to Esther’s and we got Latin.

Tues. Feb. 4, 1913

OO. We had a fine Victrola concert in open forum this morning. I am going to act out a stunt with Billy Beese[sic] the most popular Senior girl in college next Friday night at a “feed” we are going to give the Euro’s. I’m to be Orpheus and she Eurydice. This P.M. I wrote up a notice of our Freshman party for The Index, and after writing my acceptance for the Banquet I went to Y.W.C.A. meeting. We raised a lot of money for missions today. This evening I studied a little. But I’m too tired.
