Kalamazoo Valley Museum Rain Garden

A rain garden will be growing and blooming next spring at the Kalamazoo Valley Museum! Rain gardens mimic nature by letting rain water soak into the ground instead of running directly into streets and storm systems, helping to filter the water that will eventually find its way to rivers, streams and lakes. The plants that will be chosen for our garden are well-adapted to both dry and wet conditions and are native to our region.
