How to Donate

Do you have something that you think belongs in a museum? Don't hesitate to ask us about it. It could be something extraordinary! But ordinary things belong in museums too.

The collection staff is always looking for the items that can tell specific historical stories of this region. But we also look for ordinary things representing the everyday lives of people in Kalamazoo County and southwest Michigan.

If you would like to donate an item to the Museum, or just ask if we might be interested in something you have, please contact Tom Dietz of the Collections Department.  He is available Monday through Friday to answer your questions and accept donations.
